For DoD Contractors, the period of "wait and see" for NIST 800-171 compliance is over. The DoD Inspector General has released a series of rather indicting claims within its recent report on several Missile Defense Agency contractors. In our May webinar, we hosted two national Security and Compliance experts to discuss the addressed NIST Controls, scathing results, and ramifications coming from the report. Participants garnered key insights from the 30+ page report and the necessary steps to take within the next six months. Also, any updates from the May 16 Defense Industrial Base Cyber Security (DIB CS) Working Group in DC were reviewed.
